Attention: All RANatics and E-Gamers!
For our current Screenshot contest, we bring you our “DigitalMartian Theme” screenshot contest. We want to see your most creative way of promoting DigitalMartian inside the game.
The top 5 will win "P500" E-Games ePoints plus "4 Event Shop Codes" each and the best among those will win an exclusive E-Games poster signed by all the GameMasters, a E-Games lanyard, and an E-Games T-shirt. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start promoting DigitalMartian, post your screenshot and remember to be creative about it. Promo duration is from June 1 to July 31, 2010.

Now for some rules:
|
|
1)
We can only accept pictures from E-Games subscriber accounts. The theme of the screenshot contest is “The Most Creative Way of Promoting DigitalMartian inside the Game”. Maximum of "3 entries" per subscriber.
|
2)
Follow the steps below.
- "Create" an account in DigitalMartian.com Account Creation
- "Upload" your screenshot on this page Upload here
- Send your images as JPGs, JPEGs, or BMPs.
- "Add" a small caption about the image. A good caption or story will bring you more traffic and more votes!

3)
Screenshots must be un-edited by any image enhancing software such as Photoshop, though you can resize the image and/or skew to focus on the subject.
|
4)
Screenshots will be uploaded everyday at around 12:00pm to DigitalMartian's Facebook page.
It will be posted inside the following Photo albums:
"DM - E-Games Creative Album 1".
"DM - E-Games Creative Album 2".

5)
"Become a Fan" of DigitalMartian in Facebook by clicking on "Like".
Vote at the following links by "Clicking" on your screenshot and then click "Like"

6)
Winners will be decided based on the following criteria:
- 50 screenshots will be short listed by a panel of three (3) judges from DigitalMartian, the screenshots will be given up to 60 points each depending on the criteria. The criteria for judging are as follows:
- 40% Theme-related
- 30% Gaming Appeal
- 30% Originality
- From the shortlist, we will count the number of "Likes" and give up to 40 points proportionate to the highest number of "Likes".
Example:
Shortlisted Screenshot #1 has 200 "Likes" and has the highest number of "Likes" in the shortlist. Screenshot #1 will get 40 points automatic, and the rest will be proportionate to that.
- We will add up the 60 and 40 points to get the top 5 screenshots. The top five (5) screenshots will be deemed as the winners.

This contest is open to all E-Games subscribers and to all the games under E-Games.

8)
Any player caught cheating, exploiting, or otherwise abusing this contest, the website, will be barred from entering this contest.

Tips and Tricks on how to win:
|
|
1)
Tell your friends/guildmates/clan to become a fan of DigitalMartian Facebook page and to vote for your entry.
|
|
2)
Post your entry link in E-Games forums and tell them to vote for your entry.
|
3)
Remember, the more friends you recruit, the more votes or "likes" you'll get.

Ideas:
|
- Spell out "DM" or "DIGITALMARTIAN" inside the game using as much game characters/players.
- Create a guild called "DigitalMartian" and have a gazillion members.
- Post shout outs inside the game, where you buy your load or that you can buy your load at "DigitalMartian".
- Open a personal store and enter something like "Free Up to 2500 ePoints at DigitalMartian.com".
- Tell your guild to open a lot of personal store in one place and put "DigitalMartian.com E-games Load" or anything about DigitalMartian.
- Just remember to be creative about it and to promote "DM" inside the game. Originality counts!

The contest will run for roughly 2 months and after that we will announce the lucky winners. All the best images will be shown in our Facebook gallery as well. Duration of the contest is from June 1 to July 31, 2010. Winners will be posted here and a corresponding email will be sent with the pin codes.

DigitalMartian reserves the right not to post any screenshot which is out of theme, or is deemed inappropriate.
DigitalMartian may post a screenshot without validation, though this doesn't mean that the post is qualified for the contest.
