Attention: All Level Up! Gamers.
Have you captured an amazing battle scene and want to show it to the world?
For our current screenshot contest, we bring you the “Battle Images” screenshot contest. We want to see your best Battle Images!
From amazing feats of skill to perfecting your battle moves, if you have a really great screenshot, we want to see it. In addition to the glory of having your screenshot prominently displayed on the DigitalMartian’s Facebook fan page, contest winners will be awarded Php 500.00 Level Up! ePIN.
The top 5 images with the most votes will win P500 pesos Level Up! ePIN and the best among those will win an exclusive Level Up! poster signed by all the Game Masters.

Now for some rules:
|
|
1) We can only accept pictures from LevelUp! subscriber accounts. The theme of the screenshot contest is “Battle Images”. Maximum of "3 entries" per subscriber.
|
2)
Follow the steps below.
- "Create" an account in DigitalMartian.com Account Creation
- "Upload" your screenshot on this page Upload here
- Send your images as JPGs, JPEGs, or BMPs.
- "Add" a small caption about the image. A good caption or story will bring you more traffic and more votes!

3) Screenshots must be un-edited by any image enhancing software such as Photoshop, though you can resize the image and/or skew to focus on the subject.
|
4)
Screenshots will be uploaded everyday at around 12:00pm to DigitalMartian's Facebook page.
It will be posted inside the Photo album:
"DM - Level Up! Battle Images Album 1".

5)
"Become a Fan" of DigitalMartian in Facebook by clicking on "Like".
Vote at the following links by "Clicking" on your screenshot and then click "Like"

6)
Winners will be decided based on the following criteria:
- A panel of three (3) judges from DigitalMartian will judge the images based on the following point system:
- 1-40 points - number of “likes”/votes from Facebook
- The screenshot with the highest number of likes will get 40 points automatically
- The rest of the screenshot will be given points proportionate to the highest number of likes. For example: Screenshot A has the highest number of likes which is 100 likes. Screenshot A will be given 40 points from this criteria. Screenshot B has 10 likes and will get only 4 points (10 likes / 100 highest number of likes = 0.1 ), (0.1*40 points = 4 points).
- 1-30 points - theme-related
- 1-15 points - gaming appeal
- 1-15 points - originality
- The top five (5) images that will garner the most number of points will be deemed the winners.
- If a tie occurs, the images with the same scores will be judged again by one of the three judges based on the same criteria above.

This contest is open to all Level Up! subscribers and to all the games under Level Up!

8)
Any player caught cheating, exploiting, or otherwise abusing this contest, the website, will be barred from entering this contest.
|
9)
Duration of the contest will be roughly two (2) months:
- Posting – we will be accepting entries for posting until _________________.
- Voting is allowed until ___________________. Roughly fifteen (15) days after the last day of posting.
- The lucky winners will be announced seven (7) days after the last day of voting.

The names of the lucky winners will be posted here
and corresponding email will be sent with the pin codes. All the best images will be shown in our Facebook gallery as well.

Tips and Tricks on how to win:
|
|
1)
Tell your friends/guildmates/clan to become a fan of DigitalMartian Facebook page and to vote for your entry.
|
|
2)
Post your entry link in LevelUp! forums and tell them to vote for your entry.
|
3)
Remember, the more friends you recruit, the more votes or "likes" you'll get.

Ideas:
|
- Large battle scenes showing a balance of players from both teams, along with many weapon and ability effects visible at once.
- Up-close views of a unit performing a particular action. Try to show it as it was in motion for dramatic effect.
- Weapon effects and players moving into the camera – for example, siege weaponry being fired into the camera from a distance.
- Conflict between two players up close with a chaotic battlefield around them.
- Teams moving together.
- Siege weaponry being used – particularly ranged siege.
- Commanders interacting with their team.
- A team's base or expansion.
